As the design department, an exhibition called “Gaining Independence” was organized on our university campus on November 15, 2022 in order to raise awareness of addictive behaviors and substances within the school. In our exhibition, Graphic Design Program students addressed addiction types such as alcohol, cigarettes, volatile substances, shopping, violence, caffeine, drugs, gambling and games in their poster designs. Fashion Design Program students put on a live performance using make-up and costume techniques in the concept covering addiction types. The performance of the students in this event, which was prepared by Graphic Design and Fashion Design Program students as complementary to each other, was highly appreciated.
